Andrés Agosin (Monk)
Bring South American Art into Your Living Room
Visionary beyond definition
Born in Chile and shaped by the vibrant, pulsating streets of Buenos Aires, Monk is a creator who refuses to be boxed into a single category. He is a muralist, a graphic designer, and a pioneer of independent publishing. His visual language is a fascinating paradox: deeply rooted in the strict, rational logic of architectural geometry, yet exploding with the untamed, emotional energy of pop surrealism.
An encounter across ten thousand miles
At HYM, we believe listening to vinyl is a deeply physical experience. To push the boundaries of audio aesthetics, we crossed 11,000 kilometers to collaborate with Latin American visual visionary Andrés Agosin (Monk). Known for blending architectural rigor with the wild energy of street art, Monk saw the HYM Seed turntable as his ultimate "three-dimensional canvas."
Accessible Art
The collaboration features Monk’s iconic artwork, "Despiece" (Disassembly). To bring this vibrant piece to life, we wrapped the Seed in premium warm-toned leather. Using advanced UV micro-jet printing, the electric teal and magenta pigments bond at a molecular level with the natural leather grain. It’s not just a print; it’s a tactile masterpiece you can actually feel.
Uncompromising Hi-Fi Audio
Beneath this stunning visual exterior lies the exact audiophile-grade engineering that defines the HYM Seed: a patented 3-point suspension system for skip-free playback and a powerful 60W lossless output that effortlessly fills the room. Where pristine sound meets borderless imagination.
