HYM × CITY MAGAZINE
When Hi-Fi acoustics meet Hong Kong's urban cultural zeitgeist, HYM partners with the city's oldest lifestyle pioneer, CITY MAGAZINE, to present the "Seed-CITY MAGAZINE" co-branded turntable. This collaboration transforms the generational marks of print media into three-dimensional musical aesthetics, paying tribute to endless urban trends.
The Cultural Pioneer: CITY MAGAZINE
Founded in 1976, CITY MAGAZINE stands as Hong Kong's oldest and most iconic lifestyle magazine. For decades, it has not only documented the city's cultural evolution but also shaped avant-garde fashion aesthetics and lifestyle attitudes, establishing itself as an indelible cultural landmark.
100th Issue Tribute: Reimagining the Covers
This collaboration was born to celebrate the magazine's monumental 100th issue. HYM and CITY MAGAZINE curated the most iconic characters and images from 100 classic covers, reimagining them into two fashion-inspired co-branded record players, turning every inch of the device into a story.
Cinematic Leather Craft
In terms of design, these classic covers are masterfully stitched together in the form of comics and films. To perfectly capture the visual impact of the era, the design is presented using a highly color-saturated leather printing process, rendering every hue as vibrant as its first publication and delivering extraordinary artistic texture.
